Dear Ed:

	It has occurred to me that you are in a position to
influence the reporting of computer chess games, since you
have put up the money for the prize.  The enclosed letter to
Newborn explains my point of view.  There has been no response
from the ICCA people who seem to regard computer chess as entirely
a sporting matter with no scientific component.
